We understand how frightening it can be for a parent to either suspect or know that their child is abusing drugs or alcohol. Faced with this dilemma, we often don't know where to go for information, who to trust with our suspicions, or what to do to help. We know because we have been there - our families have been touched by addiction. We've had to face the pain and feelings that come along with the discovery that our child is an addict. 

That is why we are here - to share our experience, strength and hope with other parents who are facing addiction with their children.

We invite you to explore the information under this heading as well as the rest of our site. We also encourage you to reach out for help. You do not have to face this alone. There are other families, willing youth and trained professionals who share the desire to help others find freedom from active addiction. There is no shame or stigma with this disease, and there is definitely no shame in asking for help.
